Everest, Festo, Info Support and Wärtsilä have established a cooperation agreement with Avans University for a two year period on December 7th 2009. This agreement aims to intensify the cooperation with each other.
The IT companies and Avans University already work together for some time. Participation in advisory, guest lectures and active internship mediation and facilitation are some examples. Info Support is also sponsoring the award for computer science graduates and Festo has recently provided a preparation for Industrial Automation. Wärtsilä is an important relationship for minor off shoring and Everest plays an important part in the education curriculum as developer of the Aquima platform. The four IT companies find it important to know the students and to determine their interests in the IT market.
